THE SERENOA RUG
Named after one of my own textile designs, the Serenoa rug draws directly from my Rooted collection—a tribute to the natural beauty and quiet strength of the Lowcountry. Inspired by the saw palmettos that dot the marshes near my Charleston home, it features a rhythmic, elegant pattern that brings both softness and structure to a space.
I designed Serenoa as the statement piece for my Parlour room, where it now sets the tone for gathering, relaxing, and everyday life. Every detail in this room was thoughtfully curated around the rug—from layered textures to timeless accents—so that it not only grounds the space, but also tells a story. With its earthy palette, timeless motifs, and meaningful roots, Serenoa is the kind of rug that feels right at home wherever it lands—whether that’s under a game table or a holiday dinner.
For me, Serenoa is more than just a rug—it’s a reflection of home, history, and the joy of creating spaces that feel inviting and alive.
